Hello Sanya,
Admission to most veterinary colleges is given on the basis of results obtained in the entrance examination conducted by the concerned universities. Veterinary Council of India conducts an ‘All India Pre Veterinary Test’ (AIPVT) for admission to first year of Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) & Animal Husbandry (AH) degree course for filling up seats of each veterinary college of all states including colleges like Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, Bihar Veterinary College, Patna, Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi, Bombay Veterinary Science College, Mumbai, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner. This Entrance exam is usually held in the month of May each year.
In 2019, the admission in BVSc courses will be done on the basis of NEET 2019 Score.
However, there are some state level entrance exams also, through which admissions are given in the colleges of that particular state like Kerala Engineering Agricultural and Medical Entrance Test that is for the colleges of Kerala.
Thanku.
