Veterinary  Council of India is the competent authority regarding the counselling of AIPVT which is a gateway for admission to 15% AIQ of BVSc and AH course of five and half year along with one year compulsory internship into 43 government colleges and 4 private colleges,  candidates need to qualify NEET in order to participate in the counselling procedure, since 2017 the entrance test conducted of AIPVT is scrapped and admission is done on NEET scores, after qualifying NEET candidates need to fill in the application form in the steps mentioned below:

• Once the online registration is activated, candidates need to register by providing details such as name, mother's name, email-id, mobile number, date of birth, NEET UG roll number, registration number as mentioned in NEET application form and thereby create a password, the login credentials that is login id and password will be sent to registered email id.
• In the next step, candidates need to login with the given credentials, and fill in details pertaining to NEET (as in scores obtained, category rank, AIR), academics(class 12 roll number, overall and subject wise marks obtained, maximum marks, board information) and contact details pertaining to permanent and correspondence address, email-id, active and alternative mobile number etc.
• Once all the essential details are filled in, they need to pay the requisite fee in online mode, and take a print out of the receipt of the paid fee.
• Finally once the entire steps are followed, check carefully all the details, and download the filled in form, and take a print out of few copies for future references as it will be required during counselling procedure.
