Even though many of the large consultancy firms recruit graduates straight from university, an aptitude for client handling, listening, strategic planning, business analysis and team-building are the most attractive qualities for a sucessful consultant. The degrees in management may be a beneficial for an employee but generally consultancy is not a degree-specific industry.
