how are hostel rooms in the college and with how many people do u have to share it, based on whether im 1st year mbbs or 2nd year,etc

I would suggest you specify the college's name in the comments so that I can help you out with your curiosity. Every college has its guidelines and format for the hostel, and there is no universal yardstick for accommodation and sharing in the hostel. Some hostel rooms are 4-sharing, some 2-sharing, and other single occupants as well.
