VIT's placement record is remarkable. The institute aims at providing placements to 100% of its students. The packages offered to students are based on their merit i.e. the CGPA secured by them through out the course. Students with a 9 CGPA record over semesters are offered jobs in Microsoft, Google, HP and Amazon with pay packages over INR 30 lakhs per annum. The average pay package offered ranges from INR 8-15 lakhs per annum.

Highest pay package offered in the Bachelor of Technology programmes was INR 12 lakhs per annum. Major recruiting companies included Infosys, Informatica, Tech Mahindra, Google, Tesco etc.

Hi Ninad. The placements at VIT are very good especially for the Computer science, EEE and IT branch. Companies like Intel, Wipro come there to hire students.

Average package for CS students is around 5-5.5L and if you have a good sgpa then it can go around 6-7L.

Last year, the highest package was of 27L by Amazon.
