hi pravesh, veterinary Council of India (VCI) will organize admission procedure for providing admission to the BV. Sc. & A.H. degree programme. It is organized in name of AIPVT 2018. It is a national level admission procedure. From 2017, AIPVT was replaced by the NEET exam. Now, the admission to the veterinary courses will be done on the basis of NEET 2018 score. The admission into this course will be done under the 15 % All India Quota seats (except Jammu & Kashmir). Under 15% AIQ, total 434 seats are available
Hi,
In 2017, a major change introduced to the admissions and counselling for veterinary courses was in the decision of the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) to not conduct the All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) and instead conduct counselling on the basis of NEET scores for the 15% All India Quota seats. State Governments and Universities filled seats as per their own entrance examinations and counselling processes. However, it is expected that from 2018 onwards, admissions to all BVSc courses will be on the basis of NEET scores alone and candidates will report for counselling accordingly.
