Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences offers placements to the students immediately after admission to the course. The students of M.Ch. and D.M. programmes are appointed as senior residents after their admission to the programmes. Similarly, students of M.D. programmes are appointed as junior residents after their admission. As per NIRF Report out of 81 eligible candidates, 81 were placed in the year 2020 and 119 students were placed in the year 2021.
