It is a 4-years professional course, which deals with the health support and relocation and prevention of disease, there are two main programs in nursing available mainly in India. Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Courses in Paramedical Science
– Candidates must have qualified their class 12th
– Class 12th must be completed with science stream having Physics, Chemistry and Biology as a compulsory subject
– Candidates must obtain a minimum 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam
Career Options as a Paramedic
Once the candidate completes a basic course in any of the paramedical streams, he/ she can take up a job in a nursing home, hospital, clinic, health departments etc. Scope of becoming a paramedic in India has seen a boom with the opening of private hospitals such as Apollo Hospital, Fortis Hospital etc. A paramedic can work as a teacher after attaining the required skill.
