see in recent years gate exam is open for students who are doing three years bachelors course and candidates of third year b.tech are also eligible to appear in gate. however now coming to humanities subjects, in recent years humanities papers has included in gate papers. so from the previous years data psus mainly hires engineers with valid gate score. so it is difficult to predict for students from humanities group, how many vacancy will be there for particularly humanities or arts background gate scorer candidates. so you must keep an eye on recruitment alerts to get job updates based on gate score.
