As per the NEET standard guideline, Home State quota, basically, is the reservation of 85% seats of a college in a particular state, for the students domicile to that particular state. The remaining 15% seats are available in the All India Quota (AIQ) ,and is filled by the students not domicile to the state. If the situation arises, vacant All India Quota seats can be transformed into State Quota seats, depending upon the policies of the institute.
So, it must be clear that if you have a domicile in a particular state then you can apply for the 85% quota seats of the colleges in that particular state and obviously you can have only one domicile of state where you have a permanent residence, you can’t have domiciles of different states. So, it is illogical to think to apply for 85% reserved seats in different states. Private institutes may have management quota through which you can apply to get an admission.
