Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is an undergraduate degree course in computer applications. With the rapid growth of IT industry in India, the demand of computer professional is increasing day by day. This increasing growth of IT industry has created a lot of opportunities for the computer graduates.

Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA) is one of the popular courses among the students who want to make their career in the IT (Information Technology) field. The duration of the course is 3 years and divided into 6 semesters. It comprises of the subjects like database, networking, data structure, core programming languages like ‘C’ and ‘java’. Eligibility :-

1. BCA Admission 2022 is based on entrance exams conducted at national as well as state levels.
2. Mostly, the admission to BCA course is done through the entrance test.
3. Universities such as GGSIPU conduct their own entrance exam to enroll students in the BCA course.
4. Some colleges provide admission on the basis of merit prepared by the score of qualifying examination 12th.
5. Candidate Should be a citizen of India.
6. Candidate must have passed class 12th  or senior secondary examination with at least 50% marks including English.
7. The 12th examination must be passed/Appearing with mathematics as a compulsory subject.
8. The minimum age limit is 17 years and the maximum age varies between 22-25 years.
9. The students are generally admitted on the basis of personal interview and written examination conducted by various institutes/universities.
10. Some institutes/universities admit student on merit basis.
11. The merit is prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in the qualifying examination 12th.
