So, basically, PRMO is the first stage to the Indian Mathematical Olympiad. This will be held on August 19, 2018. The top 300 students from classes 8, 9, 10, 11 and the top 60 from class 12 are eligible to write the RMO.

The RMO will be conducted by the regional co-ordinator in his region on October 7 th , 2018. The best performing students are selected for the INMO which is a 4-hour test with 6 questions to be answered.

For KVPY, a selection of students is made from students from class 11 to FY who are interested in scientific research. Then an aptitude test is conducted and finally, short-listed students are called for the final stage of selection process, the interview.

The advertisement for the KVPY Fellowship appears in all the national dailies normally on the Technology Day.
