Qualifications to become a high court judge in India :
You can also become a judge directly after completion of your Law degree by attempting the various Judicial Services Papers. Each state has its own Judiciary examinations. If you clear the exam and the personal interview, you will be directly appointed to the Lower Judiciary as a Magistrate.
LLM is not required though, after LLB itself you can start practicing or hold a judicial office or clear the judicial service exam and become a judge.
