BDS is a dental degree and stands for Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
To do bds , first of all you need to pass your 10th and then choose medical science stream i.e science stream with pcb , and after completing 12th you need to give entrance exams like neet.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (
NEET UG
) is the national level exam to apply for BDS admissions.
. If you qualify it with good marks you can get a seat in dental colleges and pursue your bds.
The course is 4 years in duration followed by one year of paid rotating internship. In India, BDS is regulated by the Dental Council of India where all dentists have to register to be able to practice after the completion of their study.
