Drug inspector is a professional in the field of Pharmacy who is an expert in monitoring and executing efficiency, safety, quality and usefulness of drug from  the production stage to the final i.e, selling stage. Those who make it to the selection process can live a great professional life with a high package of salary job.

Eligibility:-

1. The first step in becoming a drug inspector you have to get bachalor degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or clinical Pharmacy or microbiology or medicine.
2. After this you have to get masters degree in Pharmacy.
3. Next step you will be appearing for entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC and various SPSCs when there are vacancies.

Drug inspector examination conducted by UPSC in every year. Examination will be two papers, one is for pharmacy related and another one is general knowledge related. Question pattern is MCQ type.

Syllabus also related in pharmacy, pharmacology, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical analysis, toxicology, medical chemistry, forensic pharmacy, manufacturer pharmacy.
