Hope you are doing well, To become sub inspector, candidates must apply for SI Examination first. This exam is conducted by Staff Selection Commission. Only graduated candidates are eligible to apply for this examination. In this examination, first candidates have to clear the Physical Endurance Test.

Eligibility criteria for Sub-Inspector role:

• To become the Sub Inspector in the Department of Indian Police, one must have a Indian Citizenship.
• The minimum educational qualification to become Police Sub inspector is Bachelor degree (Must be graduate) in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized university / Institute.
• T hose individuals who’re passing put from the 12th standard will not be eligible to get the SI Jobs in Police Department.
• Applier’s age must be resided in between 20 to 25 years as on last date of official notification.
• Candidates must have a Height of 170 cm with Chest of 80-85 cm to get the Sub Inspector Recruitment in Police Department.

So I would recommend you to prepare for the SI post exam from now onwards, and score well to become SI Officer.

You will not eligible by just 10+2 qualification.

Eligibility for Sub Inspector

Age: Between 20 and 25 years

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University

Height Minimum : 165 cms

Chest Minimum: 80 cms

Weight Minimum: 50 kg

Vision: Normal without glasses

Candidates having flat feet knock knee, squint eye or any other bodily defect shall not be eligible for appointment.
