Don't Miss: MAT 2024 Sample Papers
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
It is possible to calculate MAT 2021 score versus percentile in MAT result by taking into consideration the following parameters:
The MAT test 2021 is divided into five sections.
Only the results of four sections of the MAT exam are taken into consideration when calculating the percentage.
The score from the fifth section, Indian and Global Environment, is not taken into consideration when calculating the percentile.
The maximum raw score for each section with 40 questions is 40 marks, for a total of 200 raw points for all five sections combined.
However, after deleting the fifth component, the MAT score is awarded out of 200 points, whereas the MAT percentile is determined out of 160 points.
The MAT scores are scaled to a maximum of 100 points for each section.
As a result, the scaled score is granted in each component on the score card in the range of 0-100.
Neither the sectional score nor the final composite score take into account the raw points received out of 40 in each section of the exam.
It is then transformed to a percentile score, which is calculated depending on how well you performed in comparison to the rest of the pool of candidates.
At the end of the process, the composite score is determined from a maximum of 800 points, and the scaled score between zero and ninety-nine points is converted to the composite score.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!
