If there are corrections in any of the names of other things in your caste certificate, the you must go and correct them by going to the regional or local office from where you have got and obtained it. You will have to tell the officials about the correction in your father's name and then they will give you the corrected certificate after taking the old one.

Procedure for certificate correction differs from state to state and region to region. So, you will have to go to the office from where you obtained it and they will tell you the exact process and the time it will take for correction.

You may also tell them that you need the certificate as early as possible due to educational purposes.
