Chemical engineering is a main stream branch and pharmaceutical is a domain. You can work for a post which is related to that domain. After some years you can mention your experience in your resume. Bring hired as fresher, your branch knowledge, having clear concept and fluent in basics is important. You can ask seniors if you know or even ask placement teacher or any teacher whom you feel comfortable. Ask for the it and verify it.
Try to inculcate skills by practice.
