Dear aspirant,

  1. You would need a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy called B Pharm. You can apply for the course if you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects at 10+2 level.
  2. You would need to appear for entrance tests conducted by various universities at state level and national level. Some good Medical Colleges also conduct the course and you may be required to appear for a separate entrance test.
  3. After completion of the course, you can appear for competitive exams conducted by UPSC, State Public Service Commission and SSC etc for the coveted post of a Drug Inspector or approach private companies for open posts.

All the best!
