JEE Advanced is the entrance examination for admission to IITs for Engineering courses across India. To be eligible for JEE Advanced, you need to appear for JEE Mains. There is no minimum aggregate criteria for JEE Mains. But because your target is an IIT, you should complete your 12th with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry or any vocational subject with a minimum aggregate of 75%. It is 75% for General Category and 65% for Reserved Categories. So your focus should be on getting the basics correct and have as strong foundation as possible. You have to secure a minimum aggregate of 75% in your Boards. So your first goal is to score good in your 12th which means you need to learn the formula, memorise the theories from the 11th so that by the time you are in your 12th, you have all the formula on your finger tips. While it is too early to refer any books for you because JEE syllabus might be revised, the best plan is to stick to NCERT and just NCERT. Once may be when MHRD releases the official syllabus you can have a strategic preparation.
