Hey there,
Being a non Maharashtrian, to enter into ICT you have to apply through all India quota in dte Maharashtra. So you should score very good marks in both jee mains and boards . Jee advanced marks does not count here. You need to be in the topmost percentile of India as u are not from Maharashtra . There is no separate form for ICT . You have to apply through DTE Maharashtra.
Intitute of Chemical Technology, also known as UDCT (University department of Chemical Technology) is the best known institute after IISc Bangalore for Chemical Engineering . This year (2017) NIRF ranked ICT at 25. ... Choosing ICT would be a smart choice over IIT for Chemical Engineering .
All the best for your bright future ahead. Thank you.
Dear Sujitha,
For Chemical engineering ICT is more preferable then IIT. As it is renowned institute for chemical engineering with unique labs.
Hope it helps!!
