You have to apply online, fulfil the eligibility requirements, book slots and appear in the exam for admission.
Candidates who want to pursue B.Tech programmes from the Chandigarh University must fulfil the eligibility criteria. Also, any student from any stream who are planning to pursue graduation is eligible to appear for the test.
- A student who has scored 50% or above in their Secondary Education (10+2) from a recognised school (under affiliation of CBSE/ State Board/ICSE or others) is eligible to appear in CU-SAT.
- To avail scholarship candidates must have secured at least 60% in the entrance test and 40% in Class 10+2.
- Candidates will have to submit Class 12 certificate to be eligible for the academic scholarships.

For All Undergraduate courses
Bachelors of Engineering :
10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology
At least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the aggregate.
For all BE lateral entry Programs :
Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in any branch of Engineering / Technology.
OR
B.Sc. Degree
For Post Graduation Programs :
Bachelors Degree in the relevant field or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.

No it don't consider any entrance test neuter CU conducts any. But you need minimum 50% to get seat in CU. There is one scholarship test conducted by CU known as CUSAT to give scholarships to merit students.
