How can I get admission for BTech at sastra University.

Listen, for getting Admission in Sastra University all you need to do is , fill the registration form of the SASTRA . they will generally takes admission on the basis of JEE Mains score and class 12th merit list . The admission will be taken on the basis of 50% weightage will be given to class 12th marks and 50% weightage to the score obtained in JEE Mains .

Sastra takes admission in two streams . In stream 1, 70% seats are allotted on the basis of marks in JEE Mains and 12th marks and in stream 2 , 30% seats allotted on the basis of merit only .

• The candidate should be below 19 years of age as on July 1, 2022
• Candidate must have passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized state or central board of education
• Candidates should have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination in a single sitting
• Candidates should have Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Computer Science / Biology

• Admissions to 70% of the seats will be made through stream 1 based on JEE Main scores and normalized scores of the 10+2 or equivalent exam.

• The 25% weightage will be given to JEE Main 2021 scores and the remaining 75% will be given to marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent examination.

• The combined scores will be used to prepare the rank list and candidates will be invited for admission on the basis of the rank list.

• Remaining 30% of the seats will be filled through stream 2
• Only 10+2 (or equivalent) normalized scores will be considered while preparing the rank list of stream 2

Sastra University is one of the top private Engineering colleges in India which offers admissions to BTech courses based upon two methods. One of them is completely based upon the marks obtained intermediate examination and other one is based upon the marks obtained in intermediate examination plus the JEE main percentile which is found out by a specific formula where weightage given to both are in ratio 3:1. The university releases an application form for admission into the same and seat allotment is done on merit basis. The marks and percentage of students are recieved and seat allotment is done on the basis of their preference in accordance to the rank in the merit list.
