how can i get admission in Defence Institute of advance Technology, Pune
There are various ways You can Join DIAT Pune.
1 Qualify GATE and apply to the specialization of your interest. Your admission will be based on your GATE score. You need to apply for that, as the advertisement is already published. You must be below 26 years old and should have at least 5.5 CPI in your graduation.
2. Candidates under the sponsored category (MoD sponsored) will be admitted through Research & Training (R & T) and Postgraduate Training (PGT) schemes for DRDO and Tri-services Officers including Coast Guard respectively. Such candidates need to apply through their employer. These admissions shall be operated jointly by DIAT and RAC/DRDO (through DHRD/DRDO). Exempted from GATE and age requirements.
3. Candidates under the non-MoD sponsored category (DPSUs/Industry) will be admitted through by his/her employer.A separate selection committee appointed specifically for the purpose will examine the suitability/ eligibility. Such sponsored candidate must be in service of the sponsoring organization. The sponsoring organization must specifically undertake to provide full salary to the candidate and to relieve him/her to pursue the programme for its full duration.
