I assume you seek admission for engineering on a UG level. If so, the admissions in HBTU, Kanpur are done on the basis of one's score in JEE mains. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech states that a candidate must have finished their 10+2 from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 60% in the science stream with PCM as their core subjects.
As for M.Tech, the eligibility criteria requires a candidate to have a graduation certificate. The score of GATE is considered for a master's degree.
