The basic IIT Roorkee Eligibility Criteria for the MBA is as follows -

1) You should have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline of Engineering or Technology. Though students having a master’s degree with first class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized institution or university are also eligible.

2) The minimum qualifying marks required to be eligible for the IIT Roorkee MBA program for the general or OBC is at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00.

The minimum qualifying marks for other reserved category candidates is 55% or 5.50 CGPA.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee obeys a three-stage process to pick the candidates for its MBA program. The Department of Management Studies (DoMS), IIT Roorkee accepts the CAT score for the first round of the selection process. Afterward, it conducts its own GD and Interview rounds under the admission process to the MBA program.

The Department of Management Studies, Indian Insitute of Technology Roorkee offers Masters in Business Administration to a batch of 95 students. For MBA Admission , the institute accepts CAT scores. But the candidates most importantly need to fill the IITR application form in addition to CAT Application Form. After the announcement of result, the institute shortlists the candidates and finally, the group discussion and personal interview round takes place to select students for the final admission. Online Application form IITR starts from 6th of January and last date will be last week of January.
MBA Fee Structure :
The programme or tuition fee is Rs 2,00,000 - per semester. In addition to that, there are additional charges for the hostel, mess charges etc. Most importantly, there is a 100% tuition fee waiver for SC/ST candidates.

In MBA 2019, candidates need to register and fill the application Online only from next day of declaration of CAT-2018 results by accessing pgadm.iitr.ernet.in on or before January 27, 2019. Candidates have to fill all details carefully and also make sure about the eligibility criteria for IIT Roorkee MBA Admission 2019.

In order to pursue MBA from IIT Roorkee, candidates to be graduates from any discipline of Engineering/Technology with first class or its equivalent, or a Master’s degree with first class or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized Institution or University. Final year students are also eligible to apply. Candidates of General/OBC category seeking admission to the MBA programme in IIT Roorkee must have at least 60 per cent marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale. For SC/ST category candidates, this percentage is 55 per cent or 5.50 CGPA on a 10 point scale.

Fees for the coarse is 8 Lakhs.
