How can I get admission in MSC in Mathematics at Delhi University?

There are two modes of admission for M.A. / M. Sc. Mathematics in University of Delhi:
Direct Admission
Through an Entrance Test
Mode-1: 50% seats in the M.A/M.Sc. (Mathematics) shall be filled on the basis of a merit list drawn in order of
preference from the following categories of the candidates.
Examination Passed & Minimum Percentage of marks required:
1. B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons) Examination in Mathematics of University of Delhi with at least 60% marks
in Mathematics.
2. B.A. (Hons)/B.Sc. (Hons) Examination in Mathematics of other Universities recognized by University
of Delhi with at least 75% marks in Mathematics.
3. B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons) Examinations in Mathematics of University of Delhi with at least 50% marks
in Mathematics.
4. B.A. (Hons)/B.Sc. (Hons) Examination in Mathematics of other Universities recognized by University
of Delhi with at least 65% marks in Mathematics.
Mode-2: The remaining 50% seats shall be filled on the basis of merit in an entrance test. Any candidate who
has obtained Bachelor degree in any subject and has qualified at least three (3) courses each of one year
duration or six (6) courses each of one semester duration in Mathematics securing at least 45% marks in
aggregate shall be eligible to appear in the Entrance test.

Hello shubham I have 60% marks in bsc maths hnrs so I want to ask can i am eligible to do master in maths from DU
Hi Shubham,I have some confusion regarding M.Sc admission in sone of the du colleges. when I visit their sites,there is this eligibility criteria of having statistics in all three years of graduation but I have done B.Sc in maths,physics and CS.can you help?

I have done my bsc through another university . Can i get admission in DU through direct basis . Or the direct basis admission is only preference for students of DU only ?? Pls clarify me

Yes, Merit based admission is only for du students..
There are tow modes for Admission:-

Minimum 50 percent marks is must , candidates with 75% and above shall have top chances of conversion.
2. Asmission through entrance test
Rest 50% seats are will be through entrance exam by the Delhi University.
Candidates must have atleast 45% marks shall be eligible.
Total of 308 seats in North campus, 63 seats in South campus.
