Hello,
To get a seat in B.tech biotechnology in VIT, you must appear for the VITEEE exam.
This is a four year undergraduate engineering programme in biotechnology. Biotechnology is an applied science which is a combination of biology and technology. The degree for this course would be provided by Vellore Institute of Technology.
The admission will be purely on the basis of the marks secured in the VITEEE, conducted by VIT University.
Candidates who have not appeared for the VITEEE are not eligible for admission.
Candidates will be short-listed based on their entrance examination rank and will be called for the counseling.

Hello aspirant,
If you want to get seat in Vellore Institute of Technology you need to appear for VITEEE.It is an entrance exam to get admission in various B.tech courses.You need to fulfill the below eligibility criteria:
- A candidate must have passed 10+2 in PCM/PCB with atleast 50% aggregate marks and 60% individual subject marks from a recognised board.
- A candidate can get admission in Biotechnology or Bioengineering if he/she studied Biology, Physics, Chemistry in 10+2.
They will conduct online exam, you need to apply for it and get decent rank/marks to get seat in Biotechnology in VIT.
