The most opted program at Thapar University is its B.E/B.Tech program which is offered in the duration of 4 years via regular mode and across 12 different specializations of Engineering. Among all the specializations of the B.E program, Computer Science and Engineering is the most popular branch which is further offered with six sub-specializations. The university charges a total fee of INR 15.06 lakhs for its B.E program.

Admission to the B.E/B.Tech program of Thapar University is granted on the basis of the JEE Main entrance examination followed by the general Counseling and Seat Allotment Process conducted by the institute.
