Hello Ankit,

NTA to provide 10% EWS (Economically Weaker Section) quota on JEE Main merit list to those general category candidates who comes under this quota.

The NTA has taken this step under the directive of the MHRD Department to implement reservation for the EWS Category students. Candidates under the EWS category will now get reservations for admissions in Central Educational Institutes.

There is not so much profit of EWS category, the merit for this category will be down by 8 - 15 marks.

Good Luck!
