There are number of posts available in the Indian Navy, for which, even 12th Science stream passed students are eligible to apply for. So, we will check out these posts one by one, also dealing with eligibility criteria details in the mean time!

EXECUTIVE OFFICER POSTS AFTER 12TH SCIENCE

There are various divisions and specializations in case of Executive Officers. They are- Logistics Officer, General Service Officer, Information Technology Officer, Law Officer, Submarine Officer, Diving Officer, Pilot Officer, Provost Officer, Hydrographic Officer and Naval Armament Inspection Officer.

These Officer job posts fall under the category of Executive Officers. These posts ensures the smooth functioning of the Indian Navy and takes care of various General Duty as well as specialized tasks.

Now, 12th Science stream passed students are also eligible to apply for these posts. They have two methods for applying- NDA (National Defence Academy) Entry and Indian Naval Academy Entry. Both entry procedures are held and managed by the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

1 NDA ENTRY-

Only Unmarried Men are eligible to apply using this entry mode.

AGE LIMIT

16.5 to 19 years of age.

1. You have to crack the NDA entrance conducted by UPSC twice a year April and September.

Eligibility for NDA and Naval Academy

Nationality:

A candidate must be either:

(a) A citizen of India, or

(b) a subject of Nepal, or

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

Age Limits: Mostly between 18–21 years

The candidates joining Indian Naval Academy would undergo 4 years B.Tech Course and would be given a chance to join the Executive and Technical Branch of the Navy.
