Nandini, the eligibility criteria for culture and media studies is that the applicants should have a graduation degree of three years in any discipline from a recognised university possessing a minimum of 50 % marks or equivalent grade in aggregate for general category and 45% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS candidates. Foreign/ International students can take admission through ICSSR or any proper channel .
There are only 23 intakes in culture and media studies course .
As you have mentioned , there is an entrance exam CUCET which will be conducted OFFLINE
The mode of paper would be ENGLISH
Duration of examination would be 2 hours
There will negative marking
The exam will be conducted on 25 and 26 MAY 2019 .

Buy monthly or yearly edition of Competition in Focus or Manorama or any other General knowledge magazine. Do go for monthly editions which gives you complete knowledge otherwise in yearly edition you only get specific information . Subscribe for You Tube Channels which provide daily news or subscribe to news channels online portal to get updates. Read newspaper daily and make notes. Read from Gktoday or jagran josh or any other site you prefer. Download general awareness app .
Read editorials which will help you form sentences without any grammatical mistake. Download Grammarly app which wil help you figure out the errors. Try to Solve question paper of various competition exams posted online . SSC exam is conducted all most through the year so you can find many papers online. For vocabulary underline the difficult words from newspaper and write it down , revise it . Go online , you will find many list of difficult words that are common in most entrance exam
QUANTITATIVE ABILITY
Purchase RD or RS SHARMA or any other maths book to first clear and understand the concept. Take the help of question paper of any competition exam ( most of them have this section)
ANALYTICAL REASONING
Buy MK. PANDEY's book on ANALYTICAL REASONING which is a one stop book for this whole section. It explains every concept in much detail, it also contains good amount of questions. Solve quiz which are there in newspapers like Suduko, or any other box quiz etc. Solve question papers . Go online or subscribe a You Tube channel for better understanding .
