Hello aspirant, you can get admission into Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada through AP PGECET 2019 Counselling. Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP PGECET) is conducted by Andhra University every year on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).
AP PGECET 2019 Counselling will be conducted for GATE and GPAT qualified candidates separately. And the tentative dates of the counselling is from the third week of July. Also, according to the official website of AP PGECET, they will upload the notification for GATE/ GPAT students separately.
Procedure of applying for AP PGECET Counselling 2019
1. Registration and payment of fee: So, all the candidates who have been shortlisted for this counselling must pay a fee amount of ₹1000 ( OC/ BC ) or ₹500 ( SC/ ST ). Also, the candidates will have to log into their accounts with their hall ticket number and rank, and get the transaction ID.
2. Reporting for document verification: Now, the candidates will have to go to their respective venues (help line centres) to get their documents verified. They will have to provide following things: • Transaction ID or fee payment receipt • Mobile number • Aadhaar card number
3. Documents required at the time of verification: • Hall ticket of GATE 2019 • Rank card of GATE 2019 • SSC, Intermediate, Diploma/Degree marks memo • Certificate for Class 10 to graduation • Residence certificate for preceding 7 years from the qualifying examination (graduation). This is for the candidates who have studied privately. • Integrated Community Certificate issued by any recognised authority (BC/ SC/ ST category) • If you have studied from outside A.P then you will have to provide residence certificate of your father/mother for a period of 10 years. • In case you want fee exemption, provide an income certificate issued by M.R.O issued after 1st January of the year of admission. • Transfer Certificate
4. Choice filling: A login ID and password will be generated, and will be sent to your registered mobile number, after the verification of your certificates. After you login, OTP will be sent to your number. When you enter this OTP, then you will be able to select any number of options and take a printout of the same for future references.
5. Seat allotment: Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their merit and preferences.
6. Modifying your options: You can even modify your earlier preferences, if not satisfied. But this will be the final chance to do so.
7. Final seat allotment: Once the seat is alloted to you, you will have to fulfill two mandatory reporting methods. • Report through a Self Reporting System • Report at respective alloted colleges And you have to do this within a specified time period, failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
