how can i go for masters in data science after completing BE in Electronics and communication? like do i have to write gate in CSE? or any other exam. can you please answer it briefly step by step.

see data science considered as interdisciplinary stream and students from any of the department may apply for data science. however data science course is based on computer programming, mathematics and statistics concept. so if you have decided that you wants to make career in data science domain only, then it would be best to study for gate exam from computer science stream. students are eligible to apply for gate exam paper irrespective of their graduate degree course.
