How can i improve my LR section?I generally take a lot of tym in solving a set
Most important is practice which brings accuracy.
Although,
You wont get accuracy by leaving questions, try to solve all problems initially and where you go wrong solve such questions more to make your weaknesses redundant, once you do that your confidence will boost miles away. Secondly, give maximum mock tests and make sure you dont repeat same mistakes again. once you're done with that you can then choose and select certain questions in final CAT exam to score great percentile wiyhin less amount of time for maximum accuracy. All the best for future endeavors.
Use graphical methods to solve problems. If you solve problem by creating a mind map, it will be difficult
1. Timed tests for 15minutes and 30 minutes.
2. Considering that you've been using atleast one resource to solve DILR till now, brush up all concepts and different types of problems.
3. Most importantly, review the questions that you attempt during a mock test.
1. Solve basic level questions from Reference books and Coaching practice material. This will help you understand the basic concepts.
2. Solve Previous CAT papers and Mock CATs- CAT papers would familiarize you with the kind of questions and the difficulty level you can expect in the actual paper, it is also an excellent question bank with large number of good questions. Same goes with Mock CATs.
3. Analyse- Having solved question sets from previous CAT papers as well as the mock tests that you give, you would realize where you lack.
4. Choose the Question set wisely- You can judge if you can solve a set by spending 1-2 minutes. Hence choose the set wisely by selecting the relatively easier sets.
5. The trick is to familiarize yourself to as many different types of sets as possible so that if a similar set appears you require less time to analyse it.
All the Best!
