Dear student,

How to make best revision notes for preparation for jee exams, this answer is inside you. You only know your weak and strong points / spots. So no one can tell that how you should make notes. Because it is on student whether he/she will be comfortable with that method or not. Because every person's mind is different and works differently. So the best way to make a revision notes for preparing exams to ask yourself.

Now still as you have passed to a query then I am telling you some short preparation strategies of the revision notes that I had done in my time when I was a JEE advanced aspirant.

First go through your entire notes or revise thoroughly the notes 1 time and don't try to make revision or formula chart after revision for just one time. Now revise your notes the second time, now after revising second time you will get refined with concepts and after that start preparing revision notes or formula charts simultaneously by revising notes third time. And if possible then try to make diagrams too.

For making revision notes or charts, take loose sheets and write only the formula and important point and how to apply formulas, sequence wise and in a proper order of a particular chapter.
In Physics you have to apply the concepts and have to remember the formula so do the same as told in above line.

Now in physical chemistry write down the formulas and its concept also with examples. And just practice question. If you facevany new problem or new concept which you haven't seen before, then write that formula or concept in your revision notes. For Organic Chemistry, there is no particular advice for making formula chart for revision notes because organic chemistry is a complete branch of chemistry which needs revising each and every time. And you cannot separate any chapters because every chapters is correlated with each other. You may write the complete list of reagents and its properties, but still organic chemistry you need to revise it every time you cannot make a reservation chart of organic chemistry that's all. Only depend on revising.
Now for inorganic chemistry you have to learn a lot of things, so just write down the exceptions are anomalous behaviour of the Trends or the colours that are important in salt analysis, write down the ligands its properties, exceptions, etc. Because it will help a lot in JEE advanced. While making the revision charts for chemistry use multi colour pens to make it attractive.

Now for mathematics this you have to prepare a formula chart because without knowing the formulas or properties you cannot solve maths. So make a proper formula chart, by writing all the formulas for every chapter orderly. And just solve the questions.

Every time when you forget or stuck in a question, then use your formula charts or revision notes to see the formula or technique, and then again solve that problem.

Hello student,

Making notes and revising them regularly is very important for any competitive exam. Revison is an important part and it helps in remembering concepts and formulas.

For all the subjects the procedure is similar. You need different notebooks for every subject. Always go topic wise, make notes topic wise.
First of all read the concepts and theorems everything, that is read all the theory part first in a chapter or topic. Mark all the important points , theorems, formulas and concepts. Mark everything that you feel you might not be able to remember.
After reading and marking, write all these points in your notebook. Writing them in proper sequence and point wise will make it easier for you to revise and remember.
For chemistry write all the compounds name nas formulas , make a different chart and tables. Don't just simply copy statements. Try to write them in your own words and in short.
For mathematics also write the theorems and formulas for better understanding and remembering.

I this way you should read a topic first, understand it and then write down points. This will help you understand the topic properly and also not down points which you can keep revising.

I hope this is helpful to you.
All the best!
