TheNATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) is the national level entrance test, which is regulated by the Council of Architecture. This test is conducted to analyze the candidates drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability related to architecture.

NATA is not that difficult if you have a fair sense of 2D , 3D and Perspective for the drawing part. You should also have some basic knowledge about architects, famous buildings and the material used.

Here are some important preparation tips you can follow:
For the first part you need to to understand basic concepts of sketching and drawing. color combination and scale of drawings. Sketching comes not by talent. You need to practice your skill. practice everyday. Start with simple tutorials in books. once you form a basic understanding of strokes, shapes and scales. try and sketch our surroundings.
Once you have achieved a satisfactory standard at pencil sketching try understand the color wheel. understand which colors look better in combination with others. which colors are visually more pleasing.
Keep practicing pencil and colors on paper everyday. till you get better.
For online aptitude tests questions asked are mostly from Logic and Reasoning, Visual Aptitude and general information and knowledge on Architecture History and current affairs. Try to find out more and more on current architecture. History is also important.
