hey honestly, there is no exact time period for any of the era. It will vary depending on how you look at the age. However, I always refer to 'English Literature' by William J Long. If you an English major student you must have heard of that name. You can easily find the book even on the internet, pdf format. You can refer to that. It's the nearest we can get. But that doesn't mean you can not refer to other books, and it's always good to refer books rather than the internet. The era is defined by the changes happening between the old age and the new, and while for some the era may begin and end according to the death of a ruler or coming of another ruler, like Jacobean Age. Some eras are very slow and its really hard to put an exact number, like the postmodernism era or even the modern age. As a literature student, you will have to understand that there is no perfect time.
