MICAT 2018 will be conducted in computer-based mode. According to MICAT exam pattern 2018, the test comprises six sections - Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability and Data Interpretation (QADI), General awareness (GA), Divergent and Convergent Thinking (DCT), and Descriptive Test (DT). MICAT 2018 will be conducted for 2 hours and 45 minutes. The question paper will carry 140 descriptive and objective type questions divided into three parts  Part I, II and III according to MICAT exam pattern. Part I comprises Psychometric test, all questions are compulsory. Part II of MICAT question paper consists VA, QA, GA and DCR while Part III comprises the Descriptive Test. MICAT exam pattern 2018 has been prescribed by MICA. MICAT exam pattern helps candidates to get an idea of the overall structure of exam like marking scheme, number of sections, questions and time duration. MICAT 1 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on December 17.

MICAT has two sections  Section I which is subjective and consists of four descriptive questions on writing arguments, story writing and essay writing. Section II has three parts  Psychometric Test, Reasoning and Verbal Ability, and General Knowledge.



For creative writing, you need to build your writing and creative skills. At the same time, there should be enough logic to keep the readers engaged. One needs to be upbeat about what is happening in the world to make the arguments richer. For the psychometric test, Just know yourself better and answer the questions honestly.

For GK, go through websites like Afaqs, Campaign India, Exchange for Media and similar websites that have information related to marketing and media industry.



Try to give tests/mocks for it and analyse your performance accordingly.
