JEE ( Joint Entrance Exam) advance has total - 306 and each paper carries 183 marks . Exam time duration is 3 hours . To Qualify in JEE Advance based on 2021 cut off are
- General Category - 70
- OBC Category - 72
- ST Category - 39
- SC Category - 50
As every year JEE Registration increases, Competitions also increase and according to 2020, 1.7 lakh students applied for JEE Advance. If you aim for scoring 100 - 120 marks, You may fall under under 30000 - 40000 rank.
So aim for little high and prepare well consistently. Spend atleast 4-5 hours without breaks every day. Discipline is important here. if your follow the time schedule you can even crack good score in 4-5 months. so make a schedule, How many hours you going to spend on each subject especially the difficult ones and plan it accordingly. 1) Subject- wise preparation
First of all brush up the basics. Find out the important topics and prepare them fully.
Some of the important topics are:
Physics: Mechanics, Modern physics, optics, waves and oscillations, thermal physics, fluid mechanics, electromagnetism, etc.
Chemistry: Atomic structure, p- block elements, coordinate compounds, electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, equilibrium, chemical and physical processes etc
Maths: Application of Derivatives, limits and continuity, sequence and series, hyperbola, 3D geometry, Metrics, sets , Relation and functions, etc
Focus on these important topics first and also try to cover all other topics.
2) A to-do list is daily schedule-
Time management is the most important and difficult task for everyone of us. You should make a to-do list in the morning so that you will not forget anything that should be done.
You can make a time table too if you have a strong commitment power.
3) Avoid distraction-
Only study during study time. You can have breaks in between but when it's time to study avoid all the distraction like phone, games, anything that distract you.
4) Doubt clearing sessions -
Clear your doubts regarding any topic. Don not left anything on tomorrow.
5) Revisions -
Do not mix all things. Revise consistently. Practice more and more.
