How to find your downloaded eBooks
Find the default download folder on your computer. Here's how to do that:
Desktop Computers
Windows, macOS, Linux
Default Download Folder
Windows: Generally, your documents will download in the "Downloads" folder. For File Explorer, you can open it and go to the Downloads folder.
Some browsers will let you change where downloaded items go by default. Review to see whether you changed the default download setting on your browser.
Mobile Devices (Android, iOS):
File Manager App:
Open the "File Manager" app (or whatever similar app is on your device).
Scroll to the folder named "Downloads."
Browser App:
Review your download history or settings in your browser for the eBook you downloaded.
Last-Minute Tips:
Search your device: Search the device to attempt to locate keywords related to the title of the eBook or author.
Look for it in cloud storage: If you use cloud storage, such as Google Drive or Dropbox, perhaps the eBook is synced into one of those accounts.
Look through your browser download history: Most browsers maintain a list of downloads made within the last few downloads.
If you still cannot trace the eBook you have downloaded, contact the Careers360 helpdesk to receive assistance. They may be able to help you further to identify where you could have downloaded the file.
