How can I study haloalkens and haloarenes in particular from Solomons and fryhle organic chemistry??

Hey Ayush,

Hope your preparations are going on well. Now for organic chemistry referring to Solomon's can be a bad choice. Usually in Jee mains or in any other entrance exams the questions asked are conceptual and thus you need more practice of questions rather than theory. For board exams studying NCERT is the basic thing you can ever do to score full marks but for Jee  I would advice you to use M S Chouhan as it has a whole lot if questions on various topics. Solomons is a good book for theory but for concept building you need to work on concepts from M S Chouhan. If you do not get any answer refer Solomon's then.

Some important topics from happened and halo arenas are it's IUPAC names and Common names of different compounds and conversions frim one form to another like from alcohol to aldehyde etc. And most important Naming reactions as you get direct questions on this and if you know them well you get full marks.
