How can Indian students apply to Cambridge University or Oxford University for engineering??What are the requirements?And is there any exam?

Hi,
There is two exams for study abroad - 1)IELTS & 2)TOFEL.
These two's are the key to take admission in the foreign country colleges.
So for Oxford & Cambridge University, you have to take that exam(if you able to attend two's, it will be much good) for UG courses. It's basically an aptitude test. But not yet, your class 9,10,11,12th marks will considered for shortlisting. You have to be A class in English aslo.
So, if clear those exam with good marks,you should get a call from the college for interview. If you able to crack it, then you will have chances to study in that top universities. & you will aslo require the formalities from the school.

Applications from students taking Class XII examinations will only be considered as competitive for applying to the University of Cambridge if additional qualifications are also being taken.
Applicants studying towards Class XII will be expected to be on course to attain at a very high level in relevant subjects. Grades expected depend on the Board with which you are studying. Please see details below.
CISCE and NIOS - applicants will require scores of 90% or higher in five or more relevant subjects
CBSE - applicants will require five or more A1 grades in relevant subjects
State Boards - applicants will be considered on a case by case basis. Applicants will typically require scores of 95% or equivalent in five or more relevant subjects.
Offers for Class XII applicants will be made conditional on achievement inClass XII and an additional qualification, with different routes available depending on the Cambridge course for which you are applying. Details are given below about the offer levels for the levels to be achieved in addition to the above performance in Class XII.
College Board Advanced Placement Tests - offers for all Cambridge courses (though please see the note on Mathematics under STEP below) may be made conditional on achieving grades of 5 in five or more AP Tests
IIT-JEE (Advanced) - offers for Chemical Engineering, Engineering, Natural Sciences (Physical) may be made conditional on a rank of <2000 in the IIT JEE (Advanced)
