Hello Aspirant,
For TNEA nativity is part of the eligibility criteria. The complete eligibility criteria for TNEA is listed below
- Candidates must possess a minimum of 50%(40% for reserved categories) marks in aggregate for your 10+2 level education with physics, chemistry and mathematics from a recognized board of education
- Candidates who completed their 10+2 level education from Tamil Nadu do not require nativity certificate
- Candidates who completed their 10+2 level education outside Tamil Nadu must produce a soft copy of nativity certificate
- If mother/father/guardian is a central government employee with five years of service in Tamil Nadu then those candidates are eligible provided the proof of the employment is submitted
- Wards of all Indian services Tamil Nadu cadre authorities eligible
- Wards of emplyees in public/government recognized institutions with five years experience in Tamil Nadu are also eligible but proof of permanent employment must be submitted
- Sri Lankan Tamil refugees with proper documentation also eligible
