How can someone do PhD and be a professor at the same time which exam we have to give for PhD and plss explain it

You haven't mention about your educational qualifications, there are two entrance exams held CSIR NET which is mainly for candidates belonging to science stream for five subjects, and there's UGC NET which is held for various subjects with total number being 95.
Depending on the subject you have at post graduation level,you can appear for the above exams provided you have 55% aggregate in Master's Degree from a recognized university, there's relaxation of 5% in case of reserved categories.
If you choose JRF and lecturership while filling the form and you qualify later on, you'll be able to teach at university level as well pursue higher studies,you'll also get stipend.
