NEET UG or PG and MNS exams are only required to be cleared when you want to join Army Colleges such as AFMC for Medical courses. Else, for pursuing other courses under Defence such as Army, Navy or Airforce, there are different entrance exams. One of the most known one is NDA entrance exam.
Other than that, there are merchant navy Colleges too, which conduct their own entrance exams. You can apply for those Colleges too. But, the eligibility criteria differs for all of them. For NDA the Candidate must have passed class 12th with PCM Subject ombination essentially for Navy and Air force wing. Then, there are other criterias such as the candidate should be unmarried, should pass in the physical test, should be an Indian etc.,
The same applies for merchant Navy, with slight variations.

Hi , you cannot apply for army colleges whether it is army college of medical science delhi or AFMC PUNE ,without appearing in NEET as admission in almost all the colleges in India is done through one entrance exam NEET UG which is conducted once every year and marks scored in NEET is the only criteria through which a student gets a seat in particular college . Ranking differs every year depending on several criterias like
Number of students appearing in exam
Students scoring more than you
Difficulty level of exam
And your category
