Hello Kartik,

Actuarial science involves solving business problems using tools of mathematics, statistics, economics and finance. An actuarial graduate solves financial problems by employing mathematical algorithms and statistical models.

To pursue a career in Actuarial Sciences, you can give the Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) conducted by the Institute of Actuaries, India. It is scheduled twice a year 15th June and 15th December.

After that you can take admission in one of the following -

North Maharashtra University,

Jalgaon Bishop Heber College, Tamil Nadu

Amity University, Noida

Chandigarh University

Babu Banarsi Das University, Lucknow

Hope that helps and feel free to ask if you have any more queries. Best of luck!
