Following are the options to take admission in M.Tech without GATE:
IISc, IITs and NITs offer regular M.Tech seats to candidates who have been sponsored by their employers. These candidates don’t need to appear for the GATE entrance exam for admission in M.Tech programmes.
Some of the IIITs conduct their own entrance exams for admission in the M.Tech programme. If you want to cut down the competition and want better chances of selection as compared to admission through GATE, you can appear for these M.Tech entrance tests conducted by IIITs.
Following are the IIITs that conduct their own entrance exam:

IIITD and IIITB
There are various central and state universities that admit students on the basis of GATE as well as their separate entrance exams. You will find that some of the central, as well as state universities, reserve some M.Tech seats for admission through GATE and the remaining seats are filled on the basis of their own M.Tech entrance exams.
However, there are some universities that conduct admission only on the basis of their own M.Tech entrance test. Following are some universities where you can apply without GATE score by taking their exams:
