How can we get Admission to diploma at LUP punjab

Hello there, Seku. If you want to get admission at Lovely Professional University, then you will have to qualify in the Entrance Test for Diploma known as Lovely Professional University- National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPU-NEST). There is a separate eligibility criteria and test syllabus for different courses offered by LPU.

The important details for taking admission in Diploma courses are as follows:

Eligibility Criteria for taking admission in Diploma Courses

-Your aggregate marks in Class 10 must be atleast 50% with Mathematics, Science and English.

-For students of Northern-East India and Sikkim, the minimum required marks will be 45%.

Question Paper Pattern and Syllabus for LPU-NEST (Diploma Courses)

-The total number of questions will be 105 and the total number of marks will be 150.

-There will be no negative marking on wrong questions.

-The questions paper will be further divided into 5 parts as follows:

English: This part will consist of 30 questions each carrying 1 marks. The questions will be related from Parts of Speech, Use of Tenses, Vocabulary, Clause and Conditionals.

Mathematics: This part will consist of 15 questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions will be related from Real Numbers, Polynomials, Linear Equations, Trigonometry, Statistics and Probability, Arithmetic Progression, Circles, Heights and Distances, and Surface Area and Volumes.

Reasoning Aptitude: This part will consist of 15 questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions will be based on arithmetic reasoning, numbers, ration and proporation, permutation and combination, probability, time, distance and speed, directions, coding-decoding and blood relations.

Science: This part will consist of 15 questions each carrying 2 marks. The questions will be based on various topics of Class 10 syllabus: Reflection and Refraction, Chemical Reaction, Energy, Carbon Compound, Acid, Bases and Salts, Heredity and Evolution, Reproduction, Natural Resources, Our Environment, Magnetic Effects of Current.

General Knowledge: This part will consist of 30 questions each carrying 1 mark. The questions will be based on current affairs, indian history, world history, sports and elementary science.

Process of Applying for Diploma Courses at LPU:

-Register for LPU-NEST at the Official Website

-Download Hall Ticket by logging in at the Official Website. Hall tickets will be available after 48 hours of registration.

-Appear in the examination at the given Centre and Date.

-The results of your examination will be declared after 2 days of the examination.

-You may visit the office and take the admission.

Important Note: The online registration process is open and the applications will be accepted till 31st March, 2019. So go on and register yourself as soon as you can.
